Boyle Heights Pedestrian Linkages

In 2016, Councilmember de León supported the city’s successful application for Active Transportation Program (ATP) Cycle 2 funding for the Boyle Heights Pedestrian Linkages Project. The $5 million project is designed to connect the residents of Boyle Heights to the new Sixth Street Viaduct and PARC. Project elements include a new traffic signal at 4th Street & Clarence Street, pedestrian lighting along Clarence, Anderson, 6th, and Jesse Streets, as well as sidewalks repairs and new trees.
